Special needs children, especially children who are mentally challenged or have Down syndrome, also have the right to learn music. For this reason, we addressed the topic of teaching music to mentally-challenged and Down syndrome children in Lebanon. Our purpose is to motivate these children’s interest in music programs and thus enhance their music education. Our study is divided into different sections. It begins with a description of the simple method used, which is based on singing activities, well- structured music sessions, relaxation sessions, orchestra activities, and instruments construction. We wrapped up with our conclusion, recommendations, and proposals for future studies.
