The study is an action research that explores the impact of collaborative e-portfolios on students' writing. The action plan was implemented in an upper-intermediate class in an English-medium private Lebanese University over a period of five weeks. The areas examined in this action research are the use of e-portfolios in writing classes, collaboration, drafting and re-drafting, and peer feedback. The thesis is of a major importance to teachers who already use portfolios in their English courses and are thinking of adding the electronic part to follow the era's requirements. Findings suggest that students were highly motivated during the project, and they had a positive learning experience. Checking other strategies is outside the scope of the thesis.
