520 3 _aThe aim of this study is to determine the effect of sex education by applying the Lebanese 2009 sex education curriculum to develop positive sexual attitude and promote good behavior for grade 12 life sciences students applied in a high school in Mount Lebanon during 3 months.The author conducted an interview of using the 2009 sex education curriculum in Kornayel High School with a sample of 13 students, while this intervention wasn’t applied in Ain Dara High School (the control group) with a sample of 8 students. Using a pre-post test non- equivalent groups design, the evaluation of outcomes was measured by using a questionnaire. The majority responding indicated that the 2009 curriculum in sex education developed positive attitude and good behavior among grade 12 life sciences students: there was a significant difference in the scores when using the 2009 sex education curriculum on developing positive attitude. Also, there was a significant difference in the scores when using the 2009 sex education curriculum on promoting good behavior.
