520 3 _aA significant amount of research has been conducted concerning the relevence of homework in a student's academic life. However, previous literature has not extensifly adressed the relationship between parental attitudes towards homework and child academic achievement. This study aims to investigated the relationship between parental attitudes towards homework and students' academic achievement (English, math, and science) in the upper elementary level. Two hundred twenty two parents of upper elementary students from St. Joseph's School, Cornet Chahwan, in Lebanon took part in this study responding to the survey about their attitudes towards homework. Results show that there is a positive significant relationship between parental attitude towards homework and children's academic achievement in English, math, and science
