520 3 _aThe present study investigated self-esteem of students with dyslexia in three educational placements: regular classrooms, resource rooms, and self-contained classrooms. The data presented was based on two instruments: the Rosenberg self-esteem questionnaire (RSE questionnaire) that consisted of ten statements and a semi-structured interview. The scores of the RSE questionnaire were calculated based on the given measures, and an ANOVA analysis was used to compare differences among the three groups. The results of the study indicated that classroom placement affects self-esteem of students with dyslexia in the three educational placements. Significant differences were found between self-esteem scores of self-contained classrooms and of regular classrooms. The use of a self-contained classroom as a learning environment appeared to be most affective in relation to student's self-esteem.
