520 3 _aThe purpose of this study was to observe the integration of technology in a grade-4 classroom to see if this integration had impacted changes in the school curriculum. It would also document teachers’ methodology to see whether it became more of a student-centered environment. The aim was to observe if technology was used by teachers as an add-on to the curriculum to improve their teaching practices and their students’ learning or if it was used to transform this teaching practice in a way that neither learning nor teaching occured without it. This research was a qualitative study which was based on what people told and did for the researcher to understand the meaning of what was going on in the context where the research was taking place. The researcher used various data collection methods such as observation checklist, field notes, and semi-structured interviews. Results have shown that technology use has enriched teacher’s materials with videos and PowerPoints which in turn have emotionally engaged students in learning. Teachers’ practices were mainly teacher-centered with a slight introduction of student-centered techniques. Consequently, the results obtained validate the importance of technology integration to facilitate and to differentiate learning.
