520 3 _aThis study explores the adjustment problems of Lebanese remigrant adolescents as evidenced in their academic, non- academic and general self-concept and academic achievement This sample of students has been taken from five Lebanese private schools after their families' return to Lebanon from overseas. Preliminary and self-rating questionnaires were used and academic achievement scores were obtained. The sample consists of thirteen to eighteen year old middle/secondary students The remigrant students are divided into long-term remigrants and short-term remigrants based on the number of years lived abroad. The control group consists of the local classmates of those students who have never lived abroad The adjustment problems and academic achievement scores of the students were compared using a Multivariate Analysis of Variance Results showed slight significant differences between the three groups on non-academic physical abilities, non-academic same sex relations and non-academic emotional stability. Recommendations for future research are proposed.
