520 3 _aThe article examines the power of adult learning which lies in the assumption that adults have great impetus for learning and developing their life skills because they feel the need for knowledge and understand its benefits. Adults have a deeply rooted need for being able to determine their needs and interests. This should be reflected in the goals, programs, and methods of institutional work, where principles revolve around ideas, that are not only academic or professional in nature, but which start with the life of the learner and his/her own experiences and most valuable resources. The accumulation of knowledge, experience and skill development for adults enrich the learning experience. The article also makes use of “live-sessions” in order to overcome the learning challenges.
