A quantitative and qualitative experimental study was conducted and aimed to investigate whether 1) the materials given in an EFL classroom affect students positively and motivate them to write critically, 2) teaching critical thinking through reflective writing leads students to write critically and effectively, and 3) constructive feedback provided to students on their writing skills improves their writing skills.
