The NAP adopts the rights-based approach which means the general principles of children rights, and the results-based approach, of which all objectives are specific, measureable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. It uses interviews, extensive consultations for information, opinions and validation with a wide variety of stakeholders who are crucial to the process of drafting the NAP as well as for success in its implementation. The NAP revolves around eleven strategic areas, which together, when implemented fully, can lead to the elimination of the worst forms of child labour in Lebanon by 2016.
