Statistical figures assure the increase of immigration among degree holders and other data shows that almost 27% of Lebanese immigrants reside in the Gulf region. This thesis attempts to study the factors that cause Lebanese to choose working abroad. Two sets of questionnaires were distributed to teachers in Jeddah-KSA and West Bekaa- Lebanon to identify the reasons that may affect the job satisfaction rate among teachers. The results of this study showed that indeed teachers in Lebanon have less job satisfaction but the main reason for immigration resides in the socio-economical factors and the unstable political and security events in Lebanon.
