Cette formule, et la célèbre " tirage du nez " qui lui fait suite, signent la condamnation sévère des petites formes, au nom du développement massif et autoritaire.Futilité, facilité, insuffisance, mesquinerie même... Tel serait leur destin. Nous y voyons plutôt une grande part de ce qui nous attire vers la littérature : l'aise, la finesse, la discrétion, la sensibilité...
