| Summary, etc. | In a world of technological evolution, technology literacy has become a must. The rapid advancements have led to a changing cultural ideology, and their influence has become pervading in almost every aspect of current societies, including the educational systems. Currently, educational technology is being implemented into academia and at all levels. Whereas traditional education limited teachers to lecturing and students to memorizing, technology helps skilled educators create rich learning environments where students are introduced to new ideas, develop new skills, and expand their perspectives. The informed use of technology can engage students in new experiences and create a community of learners across the world. This paper studies the impact of integrating technology into education, its effect of pedagogical methods and the transition of schools into a digital world, and to understand what effects it is having on student learning, but more importantly, teaching practices. |
